“What’s wrong with my IP address? Why do I need to hide my IP online?”
I found myself in this frustrating situation last year. I was banned from a forum I just joined, and I didn’t know why. No response from the moderator, and even my phone was blocked – so it seemed that my whole IP had been flagged. I found out that I could get around this by hiding my real IP address and replacing it with a digital IP.
I’m definitely not the first person that happened to, and this definitely not the only reason you’d need to hide your IP address.
For example, I lived in China for a year. Facebook, Twitter, and hundreds of other sites are blocked there. The problem? My Chinese IP. Hide that puppy and switch it out for an American IP address and I get access to Facebook, Wikipedia, CNN, BBC, YouTube, and even Hulu, Netflix, Pandora, and Spotify.
Which brings me to my next point. No matter what country you’re in, you can change your IP address to a different country’s IP, and get access to their websites. You could get a US IP and access to Hulu, Netflix, and Pandora. You could get a UK IP and access To BBC iPlayer, Channel 4, Demand 4, ITV, and Spotify.
Want a free Spotify account? There are also version in Spain, France, Austria, and other places. Are you into Korean soap operas? Yeah, you can get a Korean IP. Like Japanese games or Manga? a Japanese IP will surely get you access to more stuff.
Are you some important guy working for an important company and than you discovered is embezzling billions of dollars from orphanages around the world and want to ‘blow the whistle‘? Yeah, you probably don’t want that pinned on you. Make sure you don’t use your real IP when you send THAT email.
And for all you revolutionaries planning to overthrow you tyrannical government, you’re definitely going to need some privacy online. Organizing rallies, protests and meetings it tough when your ISP monitors your traffic. Yes, IP hiding tools can keep your internet activity hidden from your own ISP.

Are you into torrents and P2P? Do you download movies and music online? Better hide your IP address.
Americans and British! Your governments are watching you! FBI surveillance is real (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnivore_(software)). MI5 has profiles on 1/160 people residing in Great Britain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MI5) Be on the safe side and hide your online identity from your government, your ISP, you neighbor, and that guy sitting across from you in the cafe.

Sorry, the last paragraph sounds a bit paranoid, but chances are that you fit into one or more of the categories above.
So how do I hide my IP online?
A VPN.
Why?
A VPN covers all the bases. Chat, VOIP, email, webmail, surfing, browsing, downloading, gaming, apps, software, programs – they’re all hidden with the click of a button.
No Kidding. It’s really that easy. Installation and setup only takes a minute or two, and then you can decide where you want your IP to be.

Some services even have servers in Asia and South America.
Here are my recommendations.
……….
23,000 IP addresses spread across 38 countries is no small feat. Free server switching and unlimited bandwidth makes them a great choice for anyone looking for anonymity though numbers. You can also choose server based on speed, and there’s a 30 day money back guarantee. Tough to beat.
……….
This is by far the best customer service team I’ve ever exchanged emails with. They’re fast, friendly, and helpful. 12VPN also provides fast servers, free server switching, and unlimited bandwidth for a great price.
……….
Best VPN for AnonymityThey boast that they own their own server network, and it should be noted that not all VPN services do! Many are just resellers from larger VPN services. If you want to be 100% sure who has access to your data, VyprVPN is very clear – no one outside of VyprVPN!
……….
You can choose a package based on where you are. There are 1/3/6/12 month plans. You can choose PPTP, L2TP, or OpenVPN. You can get a discount rate, or a premium package. You can get more server switches per month or less. There’s both static and dynamic IPs to choose from. You get the point, there’s lots of options. Also, they have live support.
